concerto for piano and wind ensemble

Performance by the composer with the University of Puget Sound Wind Symphony, conducted by Gerard Morris (Above)

My Concerto for Piano and Wind Ensemble is a collage of piano concertos from the repertoire. Some moments are homages to works I admire, while others are a farce on works I do not. A polystylist work, the movements are modeled after compositions by Prokofiev, Gershwin, Messiaen, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff, and Ginastera.
